Softball South Africa

Softball South Africa (SSA), established in 1994, is a national softball governing structure that aligns and subscribes to the ethos of Sport and Recreation South Africa by sharing the vision of creating “An Active and Winning Nation”.

SSA responsibilities

  • Administration and co-ordination of softball in South Africa
  • Organising and running tournaments in South African provinces
  • Development of softball at all levels (schools, universities and masters)
  • Advocacy
  • International representation (events, meetings and tournaments)

  • Over 1 000 000 fans and supporters
  • Over 120 technical officials
